Description

Design and evolve the organization’s BI and reporting landscape as a strategic foundation for data-driven decisions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Translate business requirements into modern reporting concepts, build reports and dashboards, and create dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouse structures in Microsoft Fabric. Ensure data quality, support data governance standards, and enable users through training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into BI and reporting concepts

• Advise business units and management on data-driven decision-making and optimal Power BI / Fabric usage

• Engage and manage external partners to scale BI and data projects

• Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses in Microsoft Power BI

• Build and further develop Dataflows, data pipelines, and lakehouse structures in Microsoft Fabric

• Use OneLake as the central data platform and help evolve the data architecture

• Integrate and prepare data from multiple source systems using SQL and modern ETL/ELT processes

• Ensure high data quality and help establish data governance standards

• Conduct trainings, workshops, and coaching to improve data literacy

• Contribute to the BI strategy and evaluate new technologies and reporting approaches

• Work on or lead national and international BI/reporting projects

• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation

• Support qualified 1st- and 2nd-level support for reporting applications

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable; or IT specialist training with relevant experience

• Solid experience with Microsoft Power BI; ideally knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

• Good SQL skills and experience with data analysis and integration

• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, interface architectures, and data preparation

• Understanding of business processes, KPIs, and reporting needs

• Analytical, structured thinking; strong communication; independent, goal-oriented work

• Interest in data, digitalization, and modern technologies
