Description

Lead a DevOps team focused on developing an internal automation tool for implementing a cloud solution, especially for international energy clients. This role combines people management, delivery ownership, and a technical context—turning product and technology roadmaps into concrete team priorities and plans. You will collaborate with architects, Project Managers, and other stakeholders while continuously improving how the team works.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate the DevOps team; build an environment for long-term growth

• Own team delivery—from capacity and priorities to quality and on-time delivery

• Translate product and technology roadmaps into team plans and priorities

• Collaborate with architects, Project Managers, and other stakeholders

• Manage people-related agenda, including evaluation, development, and recruitment

• Identify risks and remove blockers that could impact delivery

• Support continuous improvement of development processes and team ways of working

• Co-create the team’s technology and people strategy

• Regularly communicate delivery status, capacity, and key topics to management

Requirements

• Experience managing a software development or technology team

• Strong understanding of software development

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Ability to connect people needs, delivery requirements, and technology goals into one effective system

• Experience with capacity planning, prioritization, roadmaps, and stakeholder expectations

• Ability to set clear direction while enabling team autonomy

• Comfort handling conflicts and difficult decisions, including when plans change

• Effective communication with both technical teams and management
