Description

You will manage and support customer-facing infrastructure that connects AI virtual agents to contact center and telephony environments, with ownership of end-to-end SIP telephony integration. Responsibilities include deploying, operating, troubleshooting, designing resilient call paths, and ensuring low-latency availability for real-time voice and conversational AI services. You will partner with Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Success to support customer onboarding and resolve infrastructure connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain customer-facing cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS and/or OVH Cloud)

  • Own SIP telephony integrations: configure connectivity via SIP trunks/providers, direct trunks, and enterprise telephony (PBX/SBC/CCaaS)

  • Design reliable call paths balancing latency, audio quality, reliability, and security

  • Diagnose and resolve telephony and connectivity issues (call routing, NAT traversal, codec/RTP/audio quality, firewall and QoS)

  • Ensure high availability, low latency, and resilience for real-time voice and conversational AI services

  • Support customer onboarding and go-lives from proof-of-concept to production

  • Manage containerized workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure, telephony, and connectivity issues

  • Perform system administration tasks: patching, backups, disaster recovery testing, access management, and capacity planning

  • Harden systems and enforce security best practices for compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2)

  • Manage databases, networking, DNS, load balancing, certificates, and VPN/firewall configurations

  • Collaborate on platform/process improvements for recurring customer integration challenges

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and integration guides

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in System Administration, DevOps, VoIP/telephony engineering, or related infrastructure roles

  • Bachelor’s preferred in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience

  • Hands-on SIP integrations, SIP trunking, call routing concepts, and real-world troubleshooting

  • Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS) with Bash and scripting in Python (or similar)

  • Hands-on cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS) across compute, networking, storage, and identity

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Monitoring, logging, alerting, and structured incident management

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing, NAT) and security best practices

  • Strong troubleshooting and ownership-driven mindset

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities independently

  • Professional proficiency in Czech and English required
