Description

You will work on a banking IT project as an Application Tester & Systems Analyst, supporting the full testing lifecycle from requirements analysis to functional test execution and verification. The role includes creating and documenting test scenarios/cases, verifying implemented functionality, and identifying defects and improvement areas. You will also perform basic data analysis with SQL (PostgreSQL is a plus) and prepare templates using HTML/Thymeleaf for reports and forms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements and participate in solution preparation
• Independently create test scenarios and test cases
• Plan, execute, and document functional tests
• Verify correctness and quality of implemented functionality
• Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and external suppliers
• Participate in solution acceptance activities
• Configure selected system elements according to business requirements
• Prepare and modify report, form, and document templates based on HTML and Thymeleaf
• Perform basic data analyses using SQL and PostgreSQL databases

Requirements

• University degree
• Experience in testing applications or IT systems
• Ability to independently write test cases and plan test execution
• Understanding of IT system behavior and component dependencies
• Ability to analyze requirements and proactively spot issues before implementation
• Basic SQL knowledge and comfort working with databases (PostgreSQL/pgAdmin preferred)
• Knowledge of HTML
• Strong collaboration skills across IT, business, and external vendors
• Independent, inquisitive, problem-solving attitude
