Description

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend applications and services on AWS to support enterprise-scale IoT solutions. Build and enhance scalable APIs and backend components using Node.js and/or Python with microservices and distributed systems principles. Improve reliability via monitoring, troubleshooting, automated testing, and CI/CD enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS cloud-native backend services

• Build scalable REST APIs and backend components with Node.js and/or Python

• Apply microservices and distributed systems principles

• Manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams

• Drive reliability, monitoring, troubleshooting, automated testing, and CI/CD improvements

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3

• Strong backend development experience using Node.js and/or Python

• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for scalability, reliability, and performance

• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
