Description

You will develop and maintain the backend of a large-scale business SaaS application in the Python/Django stack. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Python/Django backend
• Design and implement new functionality under guidance
• Work with PostgreSQL databases
• Participate in code reviews and apply team feedback
• Write automated tests and support manual testing
• Analyze technical issues and collaborate on solutions
• Coordinate with Deployment and Support teams to meet customer needs
• Contribute to team meetings and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Ability to write working code with a focus on thoughtful optimization
• Can explain why the code works as it does
• Strong Python basics (data structures, OOP, exceptions, modules)
• Basic knowledge of Django (ORM, models, views)
• Understand SQL and can write simple queries
• Use Git in daily work or personal projects (branch, commit, merge)
• Willingness to admit knowledge gaps and learn
• Can read and use documentation in English
• Can work onsite or hybrid in Gdańsk; remote collaboration allowed for a trial period
