Description

You will design and develop an event-driven platform built around Apache Kafka (Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and kSQL), including backend and data integration capabilities. The work covers producer/consumer and stream processing development, schema definition and versioning, microservices, and a GraphQL API backed by MongoDB. You will also automate configuration (topics/connectors/streams), implement monitoring/observability, and troubleshoot/optimize Kafka operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop event-driven solutions

• Build Kafka-based solutions using Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and kSQL

• Define and version data schemas

• Develop microservices with Spring Boot

• Implement Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing

• Build a GraphQL API providing data from MongoDB

• Configure and develop Kafka Connect connectors

• Create SMT (Single Message Transform) transformations and converters

• Automate configuration of topics, connectors, and streams

• Perform monitoring and observability

• Diagnose and optimize Kafka performance

• Document solutions and share knowledge

Requirements

• Basic level knowledge of Apache Iceberg

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in production environments
