Description

You will design and develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and kSQL. The role includes building Spring Boot microservices for producers/consumers and stream processing, developing a GraphQL API over MongoDB, and creating/configuring connectors, SMTs, and converters. You will also automate monitoring, diagnostics, optimization, and document solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop event-driven solutions based on Apache Kafka (Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, kSQL)

• Develop Spring Boot microservices, including producers, consumers, and stream processing

• Build GraphQL APIs for data stored in MongoDB

• Develop connectors plus SMTs and converters

• Automate monitoring, diagnostics, optimization, and documentation

• Share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in production environments

• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka (brokers, topics, producers, consumers, replication mechanisms)

• Strong knowledge of Kafka Streams and kSQL

• Experience with Kafka Connect (configuration and connector development)

• Strong Java and Spring knowledge (Boot, Cloud, Security, Data)

• Experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, query optimization)

• Knowledge of GraphQL (services, schemas, resolvers)

• Basic knowledge of Apache Iceberg

• Knowledge of TLS, SASL, ACL, and data encryption

• Experience with Scrum/Kanban and knowledge of Jira/Confluence

• Experience creating custom SMTs and converters

• Experience with DevOps / CI-CD
