Description

You will independently operate and improve infrastructure services across Azure and on-prem, including Windows/Linux server management, patching, hardening, backup, and monitoring. The role also involves designing CI/CD pipelines and building Infrastructure as Code modules, scripts, and automations. You will manage identity and access basics in Entra ID, administer endpoint enrollment via Intune or SOTI, and handle incidents by identifying root causes and keeping runbooks and operational documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Independently administer infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem

  • Manage, patch, and harden Windows and Linux servers

  • Maintain virtualization and other on-prem infrastructure

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines

  • Build Infrastructure as Code modules, scripts, and automations

  • Administer identity and access basics in Entra ID

  • Manage endpoint policies and enrollment via Intune or SOTI

  • Manage backup and system restore

  • Monitor infrastructure (including Zabbix) and resolve monitoring-detected incidents

  • Investigate operational incidents and perform root-cause analysis

  • Create and continuously update runbooks and operational documentation

  • Provide technical support to developers and internal users using the platform

  • Collaborate with the Platform Network team on server/service network aspects

  • Participate in on-call if needed (not mandatory)

Requirements

  • Practical experience with Windows and Linux server administration

  • Experience with virtualization and backup/restore

  • Knowledge of identity and endpoint management (Entra ID, Intune, SOTI)

  • Basic networking understanding

  • Automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible

  • Cloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure, with comfort in on-prem environments

  • CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience (pipelines, modules, automation, productionization)

  • Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues independently

  • Incident mindset focused on calm investigation, root cause, and documentation/runbook updates

  • Security, stability, and long-term maintainability mindset

  • Ability to collaborate with developers, internal users, and other infrastructure teams
