Description

You will design and develop end-to-end processes in the SAP PM/EAM environment and implement business requirements aligned with SAP standard architecture. The position includes ABAP/ABAP OO development and near-standard enhancements using BAdIs, user-exits, CDS views, and OData services, plus integration work involving IDoc and API descriptions. You will also handle incidents in 2nd/3rd level support using structured debugging and support rollouts and SAP release upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and develop end-to-end processes in SAP PM/EAM; implement functional requirements considering SAP standard architecture
• Develop with ABAP and ABAP OO; extend SAP solutions close to the standard using BAdIs, user-exits, CDS views, and OData services
• Develop and maintain integration solutions, especially IDoc interfaces and API descriptions (SAP Integration Suite, CDS views, OData services)
• Analyze and resolve incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support; perform structured debugging and ensure stable, reliable operation
• Support system enhancements, rollouts, and SAP release changes; actively contribute to continuous improvement of the SAP landscape
• Collaborate with team members, IT project leadership, business departments, and external service providers
• Provide technical coordination and quality assurance; create and maintain project, process, and procedural documentation

Requirements

• Completed SAP-related vocational training, a degree in (business) informatics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of SAP development experience, ideally in SAP PM/EAM
• Very good knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO
• Experience with SAP extension technologies (BAdIs, user-exits) and with CDS views and OData services
• Good understanding of SAP Integration Suite and/or IDoc interface development and API description creation (preferred)
• Knowledge of plant structuring and technical processes such as preventive maintenance in a real-estate/technical context (preferred)
• Basic SAP customizing experience and interest in increasing alignment with SAP standard
• Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of structured troubleshooting, debugging, and sustainable problem solving
• Independent, structured, quality-oriented way of working
• Team skills and confident, customer-oriented communication
• Good German and English skills
