Description

Develop and troubleshoot custom solutions in an SAP S/4HANA environment. You will analyze, debug, and fix complex errors, optimize existing ABAP/ABAP OO code, and extend applications across SAP MM and project/internals order processes. The role also includes designing and maintaining OData services, coordinating external developers, and supporting long-term alignment of solutions with the SAP standard.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues in the existing S/4HANA system; optimize existing coding
  • Build and enhance module-spanning applications around SAP MM and project (PS) processes, including a CAP application for the Workzone/HWK communication platform
  • Design, extend, and maintain OData services for efficient UI and external service integration
  • Coordinate external development partners (briefing and quality assurance)
  • Act as a sparring partner for new requirements to move solutions closer to SAP standard

Requirements

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification with solid SAP experience
  • Several years of SAP development experience with ABAP and ABAP OO (on S/4HANA)
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for debugging and structured error analysis
  • Experience with developing and delivering OData services
  • Solid knowledge of SAP MM and willingness to ramp up on PS/projects/orders
  • Experience in or strong willingness to steer external developers
  • Openness and interest in future process alignment with the SAP standard
  • Independent working style and enjoyment of working in a team
