Description

You will design, build, and maintain production-grade automation workflows using n8n (self-hosted) and integrate systems via REST APIs. The role also involves creating AI-powered solutions with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI/Claude), including prompt engineering, structured output, tool calling, and AI agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP). You are expected to deliver reliable automations with proper security, monitoring, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, map processes to available technology, and estimate effort
• Design, build, and maintain n8n automations (self-hosted), including triggers, webhooks, scheduling, and error handling
• Integrate systems via REST APIs (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Google Cloud, BigQuery)
• Build LLM-based solutions (classification, routing, summarization, and document data extraction)
• Create AI agents using tool calling and MCP
• Develop custom solutions with JavaScript, Python, custom n8n nodes, and microservices
• Ensure automation security (permissions, credentials, personal data protection)
• Monitor workflow performance, analyze failures, optimize performance, and control AI model costs
• Create technical documentation, automation standards, and share knowledge with other teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in process automation, system integration, or backend development
• Practical production experience with workflow automation in n8n, Make, or Zapier; readiness to work with n8n
• Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript and ability to work with JSONB data
• Very good knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API tokens, pagination, and rate limiting
• Practical experience integrating with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI or Claude)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, structured output, and tool calling
• Ability to design reliable automations with error handling, idempotency, logging, and testing
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, and basic Linux administration
• Knowledge of data security, GDPR/RODO, and safe AI usage in a business context
• Independence in analyzing issues, designing solutions, and executing implementations
