• Locations: Katowice or Warsaw (2 days per week in the office)

• Compensation: 15,000–20,000 PLN gross

Description

You will develop, refactor, and maintain core systems supporting strategic customer areas, financial markets, and treasury. The work includes building Java services (Spring Boot, REST APIs), automating processes (Python/Bash), integrating systems (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka), and ensuring production stability by analyzing issues and logs. You’ll also support deployments and Linux/Windows Server environments while collaborating in an Agile/Scrum model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems for strategic customer areas, financial markets, and treasury

• Build and improve Java applications using Spring Boot and REST API

• Automate processes with Python and Bash

• Work with relational databases and write/optimize SQL queries

• Integrate systems via REST, SOAP, MQ, and Kafka

• Analyze errors, diagnose production problems, and maintain application stability

• Support deployments and operations of Linux and Windows Server environments

• Collaborate with business users and teams responsible for risk and liquidity management

• Work in Agile/Scrum and support CI/CD process development

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, REST API), Python, and Bash

• Experience with SQL databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL

• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows Server

• Experience with Git and system integration (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka)

• Understanding of basic application security concepts

• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues

• Experience with Agile/Scrum

• Ability to work independently and responsibly; English communication (B2+)
