Description

You will build and evolve a cloud computing platform that orchestrates the end-to-end real estate transaction lifecycle. The role emphasizes leading large projects, designing architectures across teams, and implementing robust infrastructure, application, and process modules. You will also drive performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through monitoring, optimization, and strong engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Influence technical planning strategy using business and industry insights

  • Design exemplary architectures focused on efficiency, stability, extensibility, and evolution

  • Build scalable, failure-resilient software that is cost-effective

  • Lead with exemplary coding practices (organization, clarity, simplicity, error handling, documentation)

  • Break down complex challenges into straightforward solutions

  • Implement critical and demanding software components

  • Align teams toward coherent architectural strategies

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and share insights and best practices

Requirements

  • 9+ years commercial experience as a Software Development Engineer

  • 9+ years programming experience with at least one modern language: Go, Ruby, Python, or Java

  • 4+ years contributing to architecture and design of new concurrent low-latency systems (including Kafka and ML pipelines)

  • Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySql

  • Experience with data stores: ElasticSearch, Redis

  • Strong background in application performance, monitoring, and optimization

  • Experience with tooling and pipelines on modern CI platforms

  • Experience working with public cloud providers (AWS or GCP)

  • Solid Computer Science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithm design)

  • Self-starter mentality with an operational focus
