Description

You’ll build and own end-to-end product capabilities, from UI details to efficient, flexible, and scalable backend processing. You’ll participate across the product development lifecycle with PMs, designers, user researchers, and data scientists, writing clean code and continuously improving what you ship. The role also emphasizes search engineering (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch) and using embeddings and ML approaches for search and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Own a broad portion of the product, from user interface to backend processing logic

• Collaborate cross-functionally across the full development process

• Write high-quality, maintainable code and leave systems better than you found them

• Contribute to a performance-focused, inclusive, transparent culture in a growing Warsaw hub

• Explore and apply AI tools/technology to enhance productivity, collaboration, and decision-making

Requirements

• 6+ years of production coding experience in large, well-maintained codebases

• Integration development experience preferred; user-facing product experience required

• Professional JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js) or Go/Scala/Python with Docker

• Infra experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional and cross-timezone collaboration

• Ability to make autonomous technical decisions balancing speed and long-term maintainability

• Passion for a superior, detail-oriented user experience

• Hands-on search engineering experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch

• Experience with embeddings and ML approaches to search and retrieval

• Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI technologies
