Description

You will join a project modernizing payments, developing a modern microservices solution based on OpenShift and Kafka. As the System Analyst, you independently conduct system analyses, translate requirements into system solutions, and prepare documentation for the development team. You will also support delivery by reviewing implementations, validating compliance with requirements, and analyzing data using SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system analysis independently

  • Analyze requirements and map them to system solutions

  • Prepare documentation for developers: solution description, functional scope, data flows, connections and integrations, and necessary diagrams

  • Analyze interface and application integration approaches; define interface and integration characteristics

  • Analyze data flow between systems

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders

  • Support developers in interpreting and implementing requirements

  • Verify solutions against requirements and review code to identify gaps and understand developer needs

  • Analyze data using SQL or other techniques

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum project activities

Requirements

  • 4+ years of independent system analysis experience

  • Practical knowledge of application interfacing and integration

  • Knowledge of data flow and interface/integration/connection characteristics

  • Experience with REST API, Web Services, SOAP, network connections, and file exchange

  • Practical knowledge of message transmission via brokers, especially Kafka and also SOA/IBM, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ

  • Experience creating diagrams and requirement documentation for development teams

  • Basic programming knowledge (preferably Java) for code review and understanding developer needs

  • Knowledge of microservices solutions and cloud readiness concepts

  • General knowledge of infrastructure, especially databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL

  • Ability to retrieve and analyze data (e.g., with SQL)

  • Knowledge of how banking IT systems work, or related financial systems

  • Higher education

  • Communicative English

  • (Preferred) Payments domain knowledge
