Description

Lead the design and evolution of SSDLC methodology and security rules to embed security into application design, development, and deployment. Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling, and translate identified risks into concrete technical requirements and recommendations for development teams. Partner across engineering and other functions to set security standards, principles, and processes organization-wide.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SSDLC methodology and security rules
• Define security requirements for design, architecture, and implementation of applications
• Run security architecture reviews and perform threat modeling for new solutions and major changes
• Translate risks into technical requirements and guidance for development teams
• Set security control points and requirements for each phase of development
• Define rules for data handling, source code management, access, and environments
• Help set security requirements for internal and external development
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, IT Operations, Risk, Legal, and external suppliers

Requirements

• Experience designing and architecting enterprise applications or information systems; strong understanding of SDLC
• Ability to design technical solutions with security, reliability, and long-term maintainability in mind
• Experience with APIs, integration interfaces, and data flows
• Understanding of application security, Secure Design, and SSDLC principles
• Experience with Threat Modeling and/or Security Architecture Review
• Ability to convert technical and security requirements into concrete rules and recommendations for development teams
