Description

You will maintain production environments, resolve operational issues, and build, deploy, and run containerized applications. The role includes managing Docker/Podman and container image build processes, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating administrative tasks, and configuring networking, certificates, access, and security for production environments. You will also handle monitoring/diagnostics, analyze logs to identify root causes of failures, and perform corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production environments and troubleshoot operational problems

• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications

• Manage Docker/Podman and container image build and lifecycle

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent)

• Automate administrative processes using Ansible, Bash, or Python

• Configure networking, certificates, access, and security for production environments

• Perform monitoring and diagnostics for systems and applications

• Analyze logs, identify failure causes, and drive remediation actions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Linux System Administrator

• Strong Linux knowledge (RHEL 8/9)

• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift

• Experience with ELK/OpenSearch (Elasticsearch and Kibana)

• Experience building/deploying/operating containerized applications

• GitOps knowledge (ArgoCD, FluxCD)

• Secret management experience (HashiCorp Vault or similar)

• Experience working with AI/ML solutions

• Experience designing platform architecture for business applications and processes

• Knowledge of high availability
