Description

Own application strategy and application knowledge management for the Diodes & Transistors portfolio while providing technical support to leading automotive, industrial, and consumer customers. Serve as the main interface between Product Management and R&D to build a future-proof product portfolio, qualify product value versus competitors, and lead product requirements from application insights. Translate application expertise and customer insights into customer requirement specifications, conduct application-level investigations and circuit analysis, and represent the application perspective at technical committees and standardization groups.

Responsibilities

• Application strategy and application knowledge management for the Diodes & Transistors portfolio
• Provide technical support to leading automotive, industrial, and consumer customers
• Act as main interface to Product Management and R&D to build a future-proof product portfolio
• Qualify product value by comparing strengths vs. competitive products and quantifying technical benefits
• Lead product requirements based on application insights
• Represent application perspective in technical committees and standardization groups; maintain technical contacts with key decision makers and influencers
• Translate application expertise and customer insights into customer requirement specifications
• Conduct product investigations and circuit analysis at the application level
• Set up demo boards and represent the Diodes & Transistors group at trade fairs

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant semiconductor (or related business) experience
• Development and engineering experience plus hardware design know-how
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English
• Team player with hands-on mentality and proven track record in multicultural/international teams
• German is a plus
• Simulation and measurement know-how is a plus
• Experience in Automotive, Industrial, or Consumer Electronics is preferred
