Description

Lead and mentor the team with expert oversight of technical deliverables for datacenter infrastructure covering servers, storage, and SAN. Coordinate technical activities and priorities across projects, design server/storage/virtualization solutions, and define SAN infrastructure and Fibre Channel networking. Act as the technical guarantor for projects and partner with sales on solution proposals and customer technical workshops.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, development, and quality oversight of team outputs
• Coordinate technical tasks and priorities within projects
• Design server, storage, and virtualization solutions
• Design SAN infrastructure and Fibre Channel networks
• Serve as technical guarantor for implemented projects
• Support sales with solution design and bid/proposal creation
• Run technical workshops and participate in customer meetings
• Create and manage technology standards
• Provide L3 support and handle escalated incidents
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and selection of new technologies

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or datacenters
• Ability to take the technical lead role and be the top technical authority
• Experience coordinating engineers/technicians during implementations
• Ability to communicate with customers and the sales team
• Experience with presales activities
• Ability to transfer knowledge to other team members
• Independence, responsibility, and ability to complete tasks end-to-end
