Description

You will provide daily IT support for production, warehouse, and shopfloor users working with SAP and related business applications. The role includes incident diagnosis, documentation, escalation, and participation in testing, UAT, and deployments/changes. You will also support shopfloor technologies such as MES and SCADA and device ecosystems (RF/barcode/labeling, scanners, printers, tablets/PCs).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day user support for production, warehouse, and shopfloor teams using SAP and other business applications

• Support SAP processes including Production Planning & Manufacturing (PTP), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM)

• Diagnose problems and help users resolve live incidents

• Support shopfloor technologies such as MES and SCADA, scanners/RF devices, barcode/label printers, tablets and computers, and production planning/specification/labeling systems

• Document tickets, errors, process gaps, and improvement proposals

• Escalate issues to the appropriate IT teams, vendors, and specialists

• Participate in tests, validation, UAT, deployments, and verification of fixes/changes

• Collaborate with business users, local SMEs/power users, IT teams, and external suppliers

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system performance

Requirements

• Higher education in IT, engineering, production, supply chain, business information systems, or equivalent experience

• Experience in IT Support, ERP, production, warehouse, or business applications (preferably industrial environment)

• Knowledge of an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)

• Strong advantage: SAP knowledge, especially in PTP, EWM, QM, or PM

• Helpful: MES/SCADA, RF devices, barcode printers, labeling systems, production planning systems

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and a strong user-support attitude

• Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes
