Description

Maintain, configure, and optimize SharePoint Online architecture while automating administrative tasks with PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API. Audit user permissions and sharing/guest access to eliminate data oversharing across SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365. Define and enforce M365 governance frameworks and support secure Microsoft Copilot adoption using Microsoft Purview and DLP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and optimize SharePoint Online architecture (Hub Sites, document libraries, lists, and pages)

• Automate routine administration using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API

• Audit permissions, internal/external sharing links, and guest access

• Deploy governance frameworks, site lifecycle management standards, and access provisioning policies

• Assess data structures and access policies to mitigate exposure risks for Microsoft Copilot adoption

• Partner with cybersecurity teams for risk assessments, security audits, and data protection mechanisms using Microsoft Purview and DLP

Requirements

• Higher education degree (IT/Cybersecurity preferred)

• Hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Entra ID (Security and M365 Groups)

• Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for administration, data extraction, and automated reporting

• Deep understanding of M365 governance frameworks, permissions inheritance, site lifecycle management, and oversharing remediation

• Understanding of security implications for Microsoft Copilot; hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview/DLP or exposure to AvePoint governance solutions
