Description

You’ll ensure high-quality releases by building test strategies with development teams, designing test plans and cases for integration and regression (automated and manual), and executing and troubleshooting tests. You’ll document defects, report testing progress and results, maintain the test case repository, and continuously improve the testing process while staying current with new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to analyze requirements and define backend test strategies
• Participate in planning and development phases to drive quality-first releases
• Design test plans with automated and manual cases for integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Execute test cases, document defects accurately, and report testing progress and outcomes
• Investigate, debug, and troubleshoot issues; provide technical guidance to stakeholders
• Maintain and update the test case repository
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and technologies

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience creating automated tests
• 5+ years of experience with software testing
• Structured QA approach with well-defined testing methodologies
• Backend testing experience with Java
• JavaScript knowledge for internal automation test cases
• Experience with MySQL, Postman, and DataDog
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage incidents with tactical short-term fixes and long-term resilience improvements
• English fluency (B2/C1 minimum)
