Description

Work across the full device lifecycle: develop automated HIL and regression tests, validate new features, monitor fleet health after releases, and investigate customer-reported issues. You will collaborate with embedded, backend, hardware, and other QA automation engineers to improve test coverage, release quality, and field reliability.

Role Description / Responsibilities

• Develop tools to analyze fleet health, actively monitor devices after releases, create alerts, and manage device configurations in the field
• Work with large volumes of data using Querybook, Grafana, and AWS Athena
• Monitor device telemetry data from the field
• Analyze automated HIL regression test results; run automated tests on release builds and perform a few remaining manual checks
• Build proofs-of-concept to validate how remaining manual tests and new features can be automated, then implement automated tests and add them to the regression suite
• Expand regression test coverage based on fleet health analysis and customer-reported bugs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, release engineering, or testing physical/embedded devices
• Experience designing test strategies and developing automated test cases focused on regression and end-to-end testing
• Good knowledge of Python, CI/CD, Linux, networking, and databases
• Understanding of hardware/software interactions and ability to troubleshoot issues on physical devices
• Ability to automate manual QA processes, including creating proofs-of-concept and turning them into reliable regression tests
• Ability to identify, reproduce, investigate, and clearly report issues found during automated testing or fleet monitoring
• Ability to work in Polish on a daily basis (minimum C1)
• Ability to commute to the Verkada office in Kraków every Thursday
