Description

Own product strategy and roadmap for real-time fraud enforcement across AWS Payments & Fraud Prevention. Define how AWS converts AI-based fraud risk assessments into fast, consistent enforcement actions, with reusable capabilities and customer safeguards across services and regions. Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure enforcement is scalable, observable, resilient, and continually improved using performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Enforcement Strategy: Own the vision and roadmap; define reusable capabilities to mitigate fraud across AWS services without one-off solutions.
• Reliable Execution: Define product and technical requirements for real-time enforcement; partner with Engineering to ensure scalability, observability, and resilience across services and regions.
• Policy and Customer Safeguards: Specify how risk severity/confidence and customer context determine the response; define requirements for communication, auditability, human review (as needed), and recovery paths.
• AWS Service Adoption: Expand enforcement to AWS compute, AI, Marketplace, and emerging products; identify coverage gaps, prioritize integrations, and include readiness in launch planning.
• Measurement and Improvement: Track time to action, execution success, automation coverage, false positives, customer recovery, and prevented fraud loss.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with service teams, Identity, Security, Customer Service, Engineering, Science, Legal, and product leaders; align priorities and resolve trade-offs between fraud prevention and customer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
• Experience taking a product from conception & definition through engineering design and to market
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate product development, research, and decision-making
