Description

Join an international engineering team developing software for the aviation industry. You’ll build backend services in Python and frontend applications in React/TypeScript, taking ownership of features from implementation and testing through delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python and modern web frameworks

  • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React

  • Own features end to end: design/implementation, testing, and delivery

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests across frontend and backend

  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (product, UX, backend, QA)

  • Work with Git, CI/CD, branching, and merge request workflows

  • Develop in Docker-based environments and collaborate with DevOps/OS teams

  • Support sprint planning, estimation, and continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field

  • Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience

  • Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript experience

  • React experience (or another modern frontend framework)

  • Experience with a Python web framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)

  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

  • RESTful API development experience

  • Relational or non-relational database experience (PostgreSQL/Oracle/MongoDB)

  • Unit/integration testing experience (pytest, Jest, Testing Library, Cypress)

  • Git and code review workflow experience

  • Docker experience

  • CI/CD and test automation knowledge
