Description

You will build new .NET backend products and features from the ground up, improving system performance, scalability, and reliability. The role covers end-to-end customer journeys—from account setup and payment authorization to cashback and in-checkout insurance experiences—while iterating based on real user feedback. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to move ideas from concept to production quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop greenfield features for payment and insurance experiences using .NET backend services

• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability

• Raise code quality and maintainability through reviews and engineering discussions

• Translate product and business ideas into production-ready implementations

• Iterate based on user feedback and feedback from internal stakeholders

• Work with distributed systems/microservices and partner APIs (a plus)

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of .NET and backend development

• Curiosity and drive to build experience with distributed systems and microservices

• Interest in learning Azure-based cloud infrastructure

• Pride in code quality and participation in meaningful code reviews

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and understand the business context

• Responsibility and resilience due to critical financial data

• Openness to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

• Ownership mindset: deliver features end to end and solve business-driven requirements

• Continuous learning mindset and constructive feedback participation

• Collaborative attitude and knowledge sharing

• Fluent Polish (essential) and English at least B2
