Description

You will be responsible for IT administration and support as the main point of contact for software, hardware, and network issues. The job includes installing, configuring, provisioning, and managing endpoints, as well as administering users, computers, groups, mailboxes, and permissions. You will also plan and manage server systems and network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN) and use common tools in a mid-sized IT environment (monitoring, virtualization, configuration management).

Responsibilities

• Act as the contact for software, hardware, and network problems
• Install, configure, provision, and administer end devices
• Administer users, computers, groups, mailboxes, and permissions
• Plan and manage server systems and network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN)
• Implement and use common tools of a mid-sized IT infrastructure (e.g., monitoring, virtualization, configuration management)

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (or comparable education)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT administration
• Structured and independent working style
• Confident handling of Windows operating systems (server and client editions), Active Directory, Exchange, Office, and Microsoft 365
• Confident handling of common hardware and software in workplace and server environments
• Good German skills (at least C1) and English language skills
