Description

You will work on backend systems that power the core of the platform, from running Actors end-to-end to managing storage, standby services, proxy/unblocker utilities, and core public API/console frameworks. You’ll develop, debug, and improve these services in a small cross-functional team, using an experiment-driven and collaborative approach. Deployments happen multiple times per day as part of a sprint-based process.

Responsibilities

• Run Actors end-to-end from the console start to container/microVM execution

• Build and maintain storage for Actor progress and outputs from databases to frontend rendering

• Develop and support Actor Standby for real-time, synchronous service deployment

• Improve proxy/unblocker services to prevent internet access blocks

• Maintain the public API and console frameworks that underpin platform functionality

• Work on AWS infrastructure and application deployment processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience building backend systems and APIs

• Strong TypeScript/Node.js development and debugging skills (or equivalent with rapid learning)

• Familiarity with Linux

• Experience with AWS or other public clouds (preferred)

• Experiment-driven, collaborative mindset

• Good communication skills in English
