Description

You will support the ground-up development and scaling of a compiler that handles large-scale ML workloads. The role involves architecting and implementing business-critical compiler features, publishing cutting-edge research, and mentoring engineers, while partnering with AWS ML services teams and contributing to pre-silicon design.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement features in a deep learning compiler stack

• Convert neural network descriptions from ML frameworks into executable code for AWS hardware

• Support ground-up development and scaling for large ML workloads

• Publish research and drive technical communication with cross-team partners

• Mentor and lead engineering efforts

Requirements

• 5+ years non-internship professional software development experience

• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language

• 5+ years leading design/architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)

• 5+ years full software development life cycle experience: coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

• Willingness to relocate to Cupertino (preferred), Seattle, Austin, or Toronto
