Description

You will take ownership of a customer project in the automotive domain, building a backend application for analyzing data related to quality. The core challenge is integrating multiple data sources, writing complex database queries, and working effectively with the automotive domain. You will also design and consume REST APIs using OpenAPI, participate in code reviews, and coordinate with analysts and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Kotlin/Java with Spring Boot, including integration of multiple data sources
• Create and optimize complex database queries
• Design and consume REST APIs according to OpenAPI standards
• Review specifications critically, clarify missing details with analysts, and perform code reviews
• Communicate with customers (technical specialists and managers)
• Collaborate with database specialists, frontend developers, analysts, and project management

Requirements

• Practical backend experience in Kotlin/Java; strong command of Spring Boot
• Solid knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and MyBatis
• Experience using AI coding tools during development (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) and ability to use them effectively while understanding limitations
• Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI
• Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, Docker
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, OWASP, design patterns, SOLID, and Clean Code
• Capability for basic scripting in Bash or Python
• Professional communication with customers
• Ability to collaborate in English
• Comfortable working in an Agile (Scrum) team
