Description

Implement SAR focusing algorithms, develop an offline data-processing pipeline on a PC, and test/validate using simulated SAR data. Implement Range-Doppler, Back-Projection, and Omega-K algorithms, develop SAR autofocus (including PGA), and analyze image quality using PSLR, ISLR, and resolution metrics. Perform geocoding of results and collaborate with FPGA, RF, and system engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement SAR focusing algorithms

• Develop an offline SAR data processing pipeline for PC

• Simulate SAR data for testing and algorithm validation

• Implement Range-Doppler, Back-Projection, and Omega-K processing

• Develop SAR autofocus, including PGA

• Analyze SAR image quality using PSLR, ISLR, and resolution metrics

• Perform geocoding of SAR results

• Work with FPGA, RF, and system engineering teams

Requirements

• Education in signal processing, remote sensing, or a related field

• Very good knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python

• Practical knowledge of NumPy and SciPy

• Knowledge of SAR algorithms: Range-Doppler, Back-Projection, Omega-K

• Experience with analysis and processing of radar data

• Good knowledge of SAR image quality assessment methods

• Ability to work with technical documentation in English
