Description

Own and build a new PreEmptive iOS product from the ground up as the single technical owner. Drive greenfield implementation by turning product needs into engineering tasks and decisions, while building familiarity with iOS and low-level technology as required. Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) but retain responsibility for correctness and implementation quality.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of a new PreEmptive product for iOS

• Lead greenfield development and translate product requirements into engineering decisions

• Develop with Flutter and expand understanding of the surrounding iOS and low-level context

• Investigate unfamiliar technical problems and resolve them through collaboration and supervised AI tool usage

• Use Claude Code daily while ensuring delivered code is correct and high quality

• Support adjacent engineering work such as build and delivery workflows when needed

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Flutter engineering skills with at least 3 years of experience

• Ability to lead greenfield product development and act as the single engineer allocated to the product

• Critical thinking to break down complex problems, identify unknowns, and ask useful questions of teammates and AI agents

• Ability to supervise AI-assisted development, review generated code, and verify implementations achieve the intended result

• Willingness to learn and contribute outside the primary stack (C++ packages, front-end tasks, CI/CD) when required

• Upper-intermediate English level
