Description

You will install, configure, and maintain operating systems, virtualization environments, Oracle databases, and Oracle applications. The role includes system monitoring, planning and executing updates, creating deployment/maintenance documentation, and supporting development projects and new technology rollouts. You’ll also troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and contribute to security strategy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, virtualization environments, Oracle database systems, and applications
• Monitor systems and provide continuous support
• Plan and apply updates to systems and applications
• Create deployment and maintenance documentation for supported systems
• Participate in projects and development work
• Support the team in project initiatives and implementing new technologies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience administering Oracle EBS 12.2 applications
• Experience administering Oracle Enterprise database systems
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery mechanisms (Oracle Clusterware, Data Guard)
• Practical experience with Linux systems (OEL, Red Hat)
• Knowledge of backup management for databases, files, and operating systems
• Knowledge of OLVM virtualization
• Knowledge of installing, configuring, and cloning environments and systems
• English proficiency for fluent business communication
• Diligence, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to independently diagnose and solve problems
• Ability to design and implement a security strategy, including permissions management and audit policy creation
• Knowledge of Oracle product licensing
