Description

You will technically lead the development of a specific area of an in-house e-commerce and integration platform. The job is hands-on: analyze what to improve, define the problem, propose solutions, implement them, and verify results in production. You’ll also help advance practical AI usage in the product and development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a platform area and understand how it fits into the whole system
• Identify bottlenecks, decide where investment makes sense, and propose improvements
• Run discovery/PoCs, present options with costs and compromises, and coordinate implementation across developers
• Program and technical lead as needed; maintain overall technical direction and accountability
• Support adoption of AI initiatives (product and development process), focusing on real operational value
• Ensure changes are properly debugged and shipped to production (not stuck in endless testing)

Requirements

• Strong production experience with PHP (ideally with Laravel or Symfony)
• Ability to design systems and explain not only how, but also why a solution is appropriate
• Experience contributing to problem clarification, direction setting, stakeholder coordination, and delivery—not only implementing tasks
• Initiative with judgment on when change is not worth the cost
• Delegation with clear context and goals; maintain ownership of the overall outcome
• Practical AI experience; strong advantage if you have deployed LLM solutions to production and handled reliability, quality evaluation, cost, and data security
• Effective collaboration: listen, handle objections, adjust decisions, and drive toward shared agreement
