Description

You will design, operate, and continuously improve the global enterprise network across LAN, WLAN, licensing, SDN, and SD-WAN environments. The role includes analyzing complex technical requirements, defining sustainable solution and operating models, and supporting incident/problem management with participation in on-call duty. Cisco-based engineering—such as SDN with Cisco Catalyst Center—is a key part of the work.

Responsibilities

• Operate, design, further develop, and engineer the worldwide network environment (LAN, WLAN, licensing) across the group

• Operate, design, further develop, and engineer software-defined networking (SDN) using Cisco Catalyst Center

• Operate and optimize the worldwide SD-WAN environment

• Analyze complex technical requirements and develop sustainable solution and operational models

• Provide technical support for incident and problem management and participate in on-call duty

Requirements

• Technical vocational training or degree with a focus on information processing, computer science, or network engineering

• Multi-year experience in enterprise networking environments

• Strong readiness to learn and adapt to new technologies and target architectures

• Ability to quickly ramp up on new topics and actively support transformation processes

• Analytical and conceptual thinking; experience developing technical solution approaches

• Good English skills in speech and writing

• High service orientation and enjoyment working in international and interdisciplinary teams

• Willingness for flexible working hours and occasional business travel

• Network security knowledge is desirable
