Description

Join the Applied AI Solutions Architecture team to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon Connect’s AI capabilities. You will assess customer data assets for AI readiness, design and configure agentic AI solutions (including RAG-powered responses and guardrails), and architect agent-to-agent collaboration workflows. You will also build serverless integrations and guide customers through testing, evaluation, and pre-production validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand business requirements, contact center architecture, and AI readiness
• Perform customer data readiness assessments; identify gaps and recommend remediation to make CRMs, knowledge bases, and backend systems AI-ready
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions in Amazon Connect (agent creation, prompt engineering, model selection, guardrails, tool integration)
• Architect Agent-to-Agent (A2A) patterns so Amazon Connect agents can collaborate with specialized enterprise agents across systems
• Build serverless integrations with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions using scripting in Python or Node.js
• Architect secure access patterns for cloud data systems used for agent tool use and RAG retrieval
• Use agentic development environments (e.g., Kiro) to accelerate spec-driven, hook-based, MCP-enabled development and AI-assisted code generation
• Guide pre-production testing, evaluation, and validation of agent performance against success criteria
• Deliver field enablement through deep dives and mentoring other solution architects

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries
