Description

As a trusted technical advisor for generative AI strategy, you will partner with major banking, insurance, payments, and capital markets customers to design scalable AI architectures on AWS. You will build proof-of-concepts and demos that connect generative AI to measurable business outcomes, while advising on agentic design patterns and governance for auditability, explainability, and compliance. The work includes reusable reference architectures for financial services patterns such as regulatory-compliant RAG, secure agent-to-data connectivity, and real-time decisioning.

Responsibilities

• Advise on generative AI strategy for a small set of complex financial services accounts

• Develop technical roadmaps and implementation plans aligned to business objectives and existing architecture

• Design and implement generative AI architectures using AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Kiro, and Amazon Quick

• Advise on agentic system architecture (RAG, tool-use, memory/state management, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop guardrails) with auditability/explainability/compliance in mind

• Translate architectural trade-offs and risks into business language for senior stakeholders

• Create reference architectures and reusable assets for regulatory-compliant RAG and secure agent-to-data connectivity

• Mentor and share knowledge to advance generative AI adoption

• Lead thought leadership and represent AWS through talks and technical publications

• Stay current with generative AI research and AWS/partner capabilities to recommend optimal stacks

• Define evaluation frameworks and monitoring practices (benchmarking, quality assessment, AIOps) to meet reliability and governance standards

Requirements

• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries

• Experience architecting/operating AWS-based solutions

• Experience in relevant domain areas such as cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics

• Experience designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and infrastructures

• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders/clients

• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting with Financial Services organizations
