Description

Join an interdisciplinary team building a modern underwriting platform using AI, LLMs, and AI agents. You’ll develop a full-stack system with React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI, orchestrate agents with LangGraph/LangChain, and implement document data extraction workflows. The solution is integrated with enterprise business systems and deployed on Microsoft Azure with production-focused MLOps and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Underwriter OS application (React/Next.js, Python/FastAPI)
• Build and orchestrate AI agents and LLM-based solutions
• Develop an agent orchestrator using LangGraph/LangChain
• Design and implement document extraction processes
• Integrate with business systems (policy systems, rating engines, DMS, CRM)
• Use Azure services: Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, Blob Storage
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines and MLOps processes
• Deploy applications to Azure using containers
• Contribute from concept/prototype to production deployment

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Data Science/AI experience, including 1 year with production-deployed solutions
• Strong Python and FastAPI expertise
• Experience with React/Next.js
• Practical LangGraph/LangChain (or similar) agent orchestration experience
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and context engineering
• Experience with AI/LLM and AI agent solutions
• Azure experience, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure AI Document Intelligence
• PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge
• Experience with Python libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• MLOps experience with Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Knowledge of AI governance and the AI Act
• Relevant higher technical education (CS, math, science, engineering, or related)
