Description

You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications built on Drupal, including custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, and new functionality. The role combines backend business logic (PHP) with frontend development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript), API design/integration (REST/SOAP), and Single Sign-On (SSO) support. You will also contribute to dashboards, interactive maps/data visualizations, and ensure performance, security, and accessibility aligned with public-sector standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Build Drupal solutions: custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, and feature development
• Implement backend business logic and integrate with databases and user-facing interfaces
• Develop the frontend using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Design and implement APIs and integrate with external systems, including SSO
• Create dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive map components
• Ensure performance, security, and accessibility
• Work with infrastructure and container-platform teams on deployments and environment maintenance
• Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and make architectural decisions

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial IT experience (or 12+ with a bachelor’s degree / 17+ with secondary education)
• 5+ years of backend development experience with PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, or similar
• 2+ years of commercial experience with Drupal (custom modules)
• 5+ years of frontend development experience using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Responsive web app experience across multiple browsers
• 3+ years designing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Experience integrating authentication systems and Single Sign-On
• Ability to independently design, secure, and document API interfaces
• Experience with databases and data-layer integration for web applications
• English proficiency (minimum B2)
