Description

You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Drupal, including custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, and new features. You will implement backend business logic in PHP, build frontend functionality with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and create/consume APIs with integrations such as Single Sign-On (SSO). The role also includes performance, security, and accessibility improvements and technical leadership through code reviews and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development and maintenance of web applications

• Develop Drupal solutions (custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, new functionality)

• Implement backend business logic and integrate with databases and UI interfaces

• Develop frontend components using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

• Design and implement APIs and integrate with external systems (including SSO)

• Build dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive map components

• Ensure performance, security, and availability aligned with public-sector standards

• Collaborate with infrastructure and container-platform teams for deployments and environment maintenance

• Conduct code reviews, provide technical support, and make architectural decisions

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial IT experience (or 12+ with a bachelor’s degree; or 17+ with a secondary degree)

• 5+ years backend application development with PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, or similar

• 2+ years commercial Drupal experience, including custom module development

• 5+ years frontend development with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with responsive web apps across multiple browsers

• 3+ years API design and implementation (REST/SOAP)

• Experience integrating authentication systems and Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Ability to independently design, secure, and document API interfaces

• Experience with databases and integrating the data layer with web apps

• English proficiency (min. B2)
