Description

Lead, mentor, and grow full-stack engineers while setting the technical direction for full-stack applications. You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle—design, architecture, development, testing, and DevOps deployment—collaborating with product owners to turn complex requirements into actionable strategies. You’ll drive engineering excellence through code quality, TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and an XP culture with remote pairing and rapid feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor full-stack engineers; champion engineering excellence and XP practices
• Lead architectural design and technical direction; ensure scalability, security, and alignment with business goals
• Set and champion code quality standards, testing (TDD/BDD), and CI/CD with robust DevOps practices
• Act as a key technical point of contact with product owners and stakeholders
• Lead full-stack development actively, including writing code and remote pairing
• Own the full development cycle: design, architecture, development, testing, and DevOps deployment
• Foster a collaborative Extreme Programming (XP) environment with remote pairing and rapid feedback loops

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Technical leadership experience (required)
• 6+ years of full-stack development experience
• 6+ years of experience with Java and Spring
• Functional programming experience with Java Streams
• 2+ years of front-end development with React
• 2+ years of experience developing reactive UIs (Reactive JS)
• 2+ years of TDD/BDD development with JUnit, Jasmine, Mockito, Protractor/Selenium
• 2+ years of microservices-based architecture experience and tools (Spring Boot/Cloud)
• DevOps development experience with Jenkins (required)
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud/hybrid-based solutions
• Experience developing and deploying in container-based environments (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry)
• Deep familiarity with microservices design concepts: microservices, service discovery, circuit breakers
• Strong leadership skills, including prioritization, planning, and delegation in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to switch easily between tasks and technologies
• Experience assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
