Description

Join a project developing modern Data & Analytics solutions and a data warehouse that bridges an existing on-premise environment with a cloud platform. You will approach the data environment from an architectural perspective—define standards, design the solution, and support its effective implementation by teams. The role combines architecture, data, cloud, automation, and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design modern analytics system architecture in cooperation with domain/business architects and designers
• Define architecture patterns and standards for Data & Analytics development
• Design hybrid architecture connecting on-premise and cloud environments
• Support integration of a modern data platform with an existing Oracle and SAS-based data warehouse
• Design data flows and solutions supporting efficient data processing
• Support HD/BI teams in architectural decision-making and technical problem solving
• Define and develop architecture standards and good practices for Data & Analytics solutions
• Automate build, deployment, and maintenance processes using DataOps, CI/CD, and GitOps
• Use Infrastructure as Code and modern tools supporting development
• Use AI tools supporting software development, including GitHub Copilot
• Support defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions
• Collaborate on Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Ensure architectural consistency across delivered solutions
• Act as an internal technology consultant for project teams
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to HD/BI teams
• Model processes and solutions using UML and BPMN
• Design systems using Azure components

Requirements

• Experience designing Data & Analytics/HD/BI architecture
• Ability to define architectural standards and support/mentor technical teams
• Practical experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud)
• Knowledge of data modeling and designing data flows
• Experience defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions
• Practical experience automating HD/BI build and maintenance processes using DataOps practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Practical knowledge of Oracle-based data platforms (Oracle Exadata is an advantage)
• Knowledge of DataOps practices and AI tools supporting software development
• Experience with UML and BPMN
• Experience modeling systems using Azure components
