Description

You will strengthen the team working on the development and maintenance of a complex accounting solution under SAP S/4HANA. You will be trained on relevant accounting topics—especially classification and valuation of financial instruments, risk provisioning, and hedge accounting—while also delivering technical implementations. In addition to ongoing development and maintenance, you will create technical concepts and operational solutions to ensure stability, performance, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a complex accounting solution under SAP S/4HANA
• Support the accounting mapping of structured financings
• Implement and deepen knowledge in classification/valuation of financial instruments, risk provisioning, and hedge accounting
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of developers, business analysts, and business departments
• Produce technical concepts and production-ready operating solutions focused on stability, performance, and maintainability

Requirements

• Completed degree in IT/Business Informatics/Mathematics/Economics or comparable qualification with a technical focus
• Several years of practical SAP ABAP OO and ABAP 4HANA development experience
• Knowledge of CDS Views and OData (helpful)
• Experience working directly with stakeholders from business functions
• Independent, structured working style; ideally experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Helpful knowledge of Finance/accounting and SAP FI/CO module knowledge
• Fluent German in speech and writing
