Description

You will build and operate infrastructure and tooling that make AI coding agents dramatically more effective across the company’s codebase.

The work spans setting up independent cloud development environments where agents can run autonomously and execute tests, building MCP integrations to connect agents to internal systems, and creating documentation and context that helps agents understand how software is built. You’ll also work across teams to identify agent friction points and drive enablement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the agentic development environment: independent cloud-based environments, full test suite execution, and visual examination of build results.

• Build tooling integrations via MCP servers connecting agents to systems needed to build and debug software (e.g., CircleCI, Slack, Datadog, GitHub).

• Create and maintain repo-wide agent guidance (agents.md) and ensure conventions/package structures are usable by agents.

• Enablement: help engineers diagnose where agents struggle and address root causes such as better docs and tooling access; develop tooling for non-engineers to make simple visual updates.

• Serve as a “PM” for internal AI agents by tracking state-of-the-art AI productivity trends and driving improvements.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals; ability to dive into complex backend code quickly.

• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Devin, or similar).

• Proven experience writing effective agent documentation, custom instructions, or context files that improve agent output.

• Track record building developer tools or infrastructure used by other engineers.

• Comfortable working across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, internal tooling, and application code.
