• Role: AI Engineer (internal AI tools and products)

Description

You will join a small AI team developing production AI applications with real impact on how the bank operates. The work spans multiple solutions, including call transcription, RAG chatbots, centralized MCP administration, classification use cases, and autonomous agent systems. You’ll design and build LLM-based systems, address real engineering trade-offs, and help deploy and operate them in an integration environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal AI tools and production applications on top of LLMs (e.g., RAG pipelines, document data extraction, categorization and summarization of communication, and voice transcription systems)

• Solve real use-case trade-offs (retrieval quality vs. latency, LLM call costs at scale, chunking and embedding strategy, hallucination handling and output validation)

• Deploy and run applications in Kubernetes/Podman and work with databases such as OracleDB and Azure (including OpenAI models)

• Collaborate with other bank teams to design, deliver, and participate in ongoing operations

• Work closely with team members (tech lead, tester, and developers) using tools such as Gerrit, Jenkins, and MCP servers

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing in Java or Python

• Ability and interest in practical work with LLMs

• Architectural thinking and understanding how components fit together

• Experience or comfort with integration contexts (Azure, containers, CI/CD tools)

• Team-oriented approach and willingness to grow through technical discussions
