Description

You will build and maintain a large-scale, React-based component library that provides the shared design system and UI foundation for web applications. You will design and ship production UI components with high consistency, comprehensive test coverage, and strict accessibility compliance (WCAG). You will also use AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) as part of your daily workflow and contribute improvements back to internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a large-scale React component library and shared design system
• Design and ship production UI components with strong test coverage and WCAG compliance
• Diagnose and resolve bugs across the component library, theming/styling layer, and build tooling
• Collaborate with design and platform teams to meet design-system and performance standards
• Scale AI-driven workflows using AI coding agents; implement UI-related agent skills
• Improve AI-agent workflows (prompts, skills, guardrails) and internal tooling

Requirements

• Proven experience building UIs, component libraries, and/or design systems at scale
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript (plus basic Angular familiarity for maintenance)
• Solid experience with modern styling architectures (CSS-in-JS and Sass)
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and hands-on accessible component development
• Experience with testing tools (React Testing Library, Cypress) and build/monorepo tooling (Bazel)
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code (or equivalent agentic coding CLIs), including directing agents in large, convention-heavy codebases
• Ability to evaluate and improve AI-agent workflows, including prompts, skills, and guardrails
