Description

Work with enterprise OEM partners to enable successful designs using NVIDIA datacenter products. Provide onsite and offsite technical support for bring-up, debug, and resolution of hardware, firmware, and software issues. Contribute to platform configuration guidance and create hardware design collateral for customers targeting HPC and AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OEM customers across design, validation, and production flows

• Provide onsite support for bring-up and debugging of OEM server hardware

• Engage in customer communication through meetings and conference calls

• Translate HPC/AI system design requirements into platform configuration guides for x86 and ARM servers

• Review customer architecture proposals and provide feedback on thermal, mechanical, schematic, layout, and signal integrity

• Analyze data, reproduce and resolve customer issues, or escalate when needed

• Perform hardware debug using lab equipment (oscilloscope and analyzers) to qualify and validate NVIDIA products for customer systems

• Track and file bugs; reproduce issues as needed

• Resolve system integration issues for thermal, mechanical, electrical, PCIe, and GPU interconnect interfaces including out-of-band management services

• Create product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other technical collateral

Requirements

• BS or higher in EE, CE, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years relevant experience supporting enterprise datacenter products for x86 or ARM

• Experience with Cadence Allegro Schematic Design Entry (Concept HDL) and Allegro PCB Layout

• Experience using oscilloscope, multi-meters, and logic analyzers

• Background in power integrity, signal integrity, and high-speed board design methodologies

• Ability to work with cross-functional internal teams to deliver design collateral

• Understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for servers, including BMC, security, and out-of-band management

• Strong analytical and design-review skills for enterprise systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adjust messaging to the technical level of the audience

• Ability to travel to partner sites for onsite support

Benefits

• Base salary range: USD 136,000–218,500 (Level 3) or USD 168,000–264,500 (Level 4), depending on location and experience
