Description

You will define and champion product requirements for Amazon Aurora, improving the getting-started and query execution experiences and building new experiences that better utilize generative AI. The role emphasizes close collaboration with customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and define new capabilities. You will solve ambiguous, high-impact problems and lead cross-functional teams to deliver improvements at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define seamless end-to-end user experiences across Aurora
• Prioritize roadmap features with customers, partners, vendors, and operational stakeholders
• Create and champion business requirements documents for new capabilities
• Participate in design discussions, code review, and stakeholder communication
• Drive improvements in service performance, durability, cost, and security using metrics, automation, and root-cause resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience
• 4+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related)
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products end-to-end (concept through GTM)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong business judgment
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to execute both strategically and tactically; comfortable with ambiguous projects
• Customer-focused with passion for cloud and information technology

• Experience with database, data warehouse, or data lake solutions
