Description

You will monitor and analyze security events and incidents across a hospital network, actively detect vulnerabilities, and help implement remediation measures. You will respond to cyber incidents and perform follow-up forensic analysis, while also testing and evaluating new IT technologies from a security perspective. The work is centered on protecting sensitive patient and hospital data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents across the hospital network
• Detect vulnerabilities and design and implement remediation measures
• Respond to cyber incidents and conduct subsequent forensic analysis
• Test and evaluate newly deployed IT technologies from a security standpoint

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of computer networks and system administration
• Experience in IT/cybersecurity or experience as a system administrator with an interest in security
• Awareness of current threats, attack vectors, and security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewall)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management principles and basics of network monitoring
• Analytical thinking, ability to solve problems independently, and teamwork mindset
